Indie Killers play 6 countries in 5 days

The Indie Killers have returned from their European tour. 6 countries and 2500 miles in 5 days culminating in performing at a castle in Krakow in Poland. The boys also conquered Koln, Berlin, Hannover and Verno (Holland).

Damo’s highlight: ‘Berlin! I was overwhelmed by the history all around. There are even check points still in the road separating American and Russian borders from 60 years ago. Reminders are everywhere from years gone by when there were proper tough times. Also even though the 1st 40 miles of Polish motorway was basically a dirt track with grass, when we finally arrived in Krakow it was amazing and the final party was sweet……. In the words of Pete Venkman from Ghostbusters….. We came, we saw, we kicked their ass!!’

Luke’s highlight: ‘Holland! I loved it! People would stop us in the street to ask us questions about the band and tell us about great shops. Probably the nicest people in world! As well as that, I loved the party in Krakow. I stayed up until 6.30am drinking vodka with all the American’s, Brit’s and Polish guys watching the sun coming up. I love my job!

Tom’s highlight: So many highlights from just 5 days. We had a blast in Krakow at the party and the vodka was flowing, although my hangover the next day wasn’t good. I also loved Koln, a very rock and roll city! Last week we played 2 full stadiums and were on BBC and Sky Sports and this week we saw 6 countries. Get in!

The IK boys are putting the final touches to the European tour video and then will be featuring it and other vids on Indie Killers TV on youtube….. COMING SOON!

Indie Killers play BOTH Super League Challenge cup semi-final

This weekend The Indie Killers were invited to perform both of the Super League challenge cup finals at The Galpharm Stadium Huddersfield and Halton stadium in Widnes. The boys walked on to the pitch for Semi final 1 to 20’000 chanting Leeds Rhino’s and St Helen’s fans, before sticking around long enough to sign a few autographs before jumping into Jason Donor-van and driving down to Somerset to perform a 2nd gig of the day. Big thanks to Lord Rage and ‘The IK road crew’ for making this possible.

Then the next morning it was up early to travel to Widnes to perform to 17’000 nutters as Warrington Wolves took on Catalan Dragons. What an awesome weekend! A massive thank you goes to Pete Nuttall and his team from P:10 Productions Ltd who made an amazingly complicated event look like organising Kerry Katona getting to the local all you can eat buffet!

So what’s next for the Indie Killers

Well this week the boys are on a mini European tour, travelling through France, Belgium, Germany and onto Poland, then returning to go straight into the studio to record new tracks. Other gigs this month include Isle of Wight, Manchester, Oxford, Reading, Manchester, Hereford, Torquay, and Brighton! PHEW!!!
